Press Release
Rosmalen, 7 May 2025
Energy company Soly and international solar distributor PVO International are announcing a strategic partnership for the international rollout of Soly Brain and Soly Copilot in the Benelux and Germany. Leveraging PVO’s extensive network of professional installation partners – including via the Sun Demand webshop for residential installers – both smart energy tools will become available to a growing number of solar energy users who want to manage their energy consumption more intelligently, sustainably, and profitably.
Opportunity for Installers Across Europe
Sun Demand plays a central role in this partnership. Through the webshop, Soly’s solutions – complete with access to technical support, product training, and sales materials – will soon become available to installation partners in the Benelux and Germany. This gives residential installers a strong proposition to help their customers take control of their energy management and reduce costs.
Smarter Energy Management Across Borders
The Soly Brain is a flexible, brand-independent platform for solar panels, home batteries, and EV chargers. By intelligently using dynamic electricity tariffs, the system helps households maximise self-consumption of solar energy and reduce reliance on feed-in tariffs and grid costs.
New to the ecosystem is the Soly Copilot – an AI-powered energy assistant that helps users optimise their energy use in real-time. From forecasting tariffs to automatically managing devices, the Copilot turns complex data into practical insights and direct savings.
Smart Solutions for Fast-Changing Markets
The energy market in the Benelux and Germany is changing rapidly: feed-in charges, new net metering rules, and grid congestion are increasing the demand for smart energy control. According to Patrick van der Meulen, CEO of Soly, the partnership directly addresses this need:
“The energy landscape is shifting rapidly. Consumers need flexible, future-proof solutions – and that’s exactly what Soly offers. With the Soly Brain and Copilot, we empower users to take control of their energy use, regardless of their hardware or supplier. Thanks to our partnership with PVO, we can now help thousands of households in the Benelux and Germany truly manage energy smarter.”
Arjan Pols, CEO of PVO International, also sees a key role for Sun Demand:
“Through our webshop Sun Demand, we give residential installers access to innovative tools that immediately deliver value to their customers. With Soly Brain and Copilot, they can help their clients to save energy, lower costs, and get the most out of their sustainable investments. This partnership enables us to set new standards for smart energy management at scale across Europe.”
Scalable, Brand-Independent and Ready to Use
The Soly Brain is compatible with dozens of inverter, battery, and charger brands and can be easily integrated into existing installations. After installation, the end user subscribes to Soly for €12.99 per month, including access to Soly Copilot. A dynamic energy contract can optionally be added, depending on local availability.
